Didn't see the unfortunate object of this crush for just over a week, even went to the bother of telling my BROTHER about it (mostly as proof that I tell him things before I tell mum so he should hurry up and tell me his gossip alright). By the time I did lay eyes upon her again, I found myself distinctly lacking in all the usual crushy symptoms.
