I saw the coming of age thing, but instead of "boy to man" I saw it as "Boy to Soldier" if that makes any sense. I thought there was just too much focus on the Military, and without them there would be no story.

Im also annoyed with Slutty-girls sluttiness. "I just...like guys with big arms" or whatever stupidity. I was like...oh please, stop pretending for a minute you're PG13. Also, I actually liked that the girl was a Juvie Chick w/ a record & a...not so legal dad. It made her more real. However, If Shia has loved her for like ever, did he not notice her absence while she was in Juvie? Correct me if Im wrong here. But still, in the end, he gets the thin, fashionable, blank looking, SEXY (the perfect tan, the perfect eyes, the perfect 10) slut (sorry I keep calling her that. Im spiteful.
