... in which David realises he didn't name the movie.

It was P.S. I Love You. Not my choice. A sometimes-depressing movie. A bit of a heartstring-tugger, actually. And that's all I'll say about that.

By the way, as I type I have my left foot on the DVD boxset of Supernatural S1 (a birthday gift from Nick) and it is hot. Like, ow!hot. And for no apparent reason. Which is kinda strange, seeing as it's Supernatural...

Went shopping with Cyn today. Started at Broadway and moved on to Glebe Markets, looking for a birthday present for Ashley. Found a couple of really nice pocketwatches that I wanted (because I have always!!!! wanted a pocketwatch) but they were tiny, which made them look like ladies' pocketwatches. I nearly bought one anyway, but decided against it. I found something kinda strange at this potentially-Indian stall, though, and absolutely HAD to pick it up. There's a picture below, but read before you see.

Perhaps four of you have seen (though perhaps none of you remember; Miss Amy has the best chance seeing as I impaled myself on it while hugging her... twice!) the pendant I wore today; it's the one that's been described as (and mistaken for) a crown, a mace, a scepter, and fingers/hands. I picked it up at this little indoor-market place on Pitt Street, right opposite Galleries Victoria, because it stood out. Plus I thought it probably had some meaning.

Then, today at Glebe Markets, I saw this:

Notice the similarities?

The fact that they're basically the same thing astounds me, but the fact that I was actually wearing the pendant today after weeks of wearing my other one... wow. Chances, huh?

So, obviously, I got it. There was no way I was letting it go. Wish it was silver, but oh well. Thing is, I still don't know what it means; I asked the stall owner, and he had no idea (and he was kinda creepy, the way he kept talking to Cyn and I... o_0), so I put the question to you all: WHAT DOES IT MEAN?!

Oh, and I did Draygo a while ago. It's the first time I've drawn him without my graphics tablet; it's nice to know I can do that. Made me want to go out and buy paint so I could colour him properly. I guess I could take him into Photoshop just for colours, but I'd like to have a completely tech-less version to put somewhere... Here it is, by the way:

Sigh. That's it from me for now.

P.S. to Goblin: When I mentioned the tablet, I realised that I neglected to reply to a comment of yours somewhere due to being distracted by your collection of wordsketches (I didn't get through very many as my laptop died, but some of them are complete awesome. I especially love the "sketches are the souls of unborn/still-born artists)" one - I hate erasing pictures, because I don't like the idea that I'm "killing" them :P). But I do remember you asked what size my tablet is; it's 6X8.
