Yes, you guessed it - my Uncle's third wedding was today.

Shirt-buying troubles aside, it was stil a pain of a day at moments. Not only did we get there so late that we actually missed the wedding (we left home 10 minutes before it was supposed to start thanks to female over-prep, we had a half-hour drive infront of us, and then we couldn't actually find the place D:), but it was a cocktail reception, as opposed to a sit down meal, and I don't like to mingle. That and my dad was playing at another wedding, so he was almost two hours later than us, and my sister is in Canberra (dancing at the Australian yay - yesterday's dances earnt her 10th of 48, and she's dancing again tomorrow), so I didn't even have her to talk to :( (and I don't really talk to my brother - icky boy germs and whatnot... no, seriously).

Thankfully there were some people there that I didn't know, but who knew me, meaning there were people there that I didn't not like/feel awkward around from the get-go (one of them, Karen, I spoke to for a fair while and learnt that she's either teaching or doing Forensic Psychology Postgrad at UWS). There were a lot of people I didn't know - not only the bride's side of the family, but a lot of our side (we don't really keep in touch with that side of the family, and for good reason I sometimes think) - so a lot of my time was spent listening, boredly, to them prattle on about who knows what.

But the day wasn't without it's drama (:P) - my uncle, for some assinine reason, decided to have photos with everyone except his family, including his kids. Kelly (his middle daughter, the one who got married recently in an earlier post) was rather upset by this when she was told the photographer was leaving, and began crying. Obviously there is a lot of stuff that this family hasn't resolved. But thankfully full-scale catastrophe was averted by the kind photographer, who came back and somehow organised the entire groom-side family (five of whom are below the age of 7, one of them only 2, another not even 1), and took several photos just to make sure no one was blining (which I did twice).

And, for Jessi's sake, seeing as I know she'll never forgive me if I don't post them - PICSPASM!!
yeah, I know it's supposed to be 'picspam', but I prefer it this way )
