Edit: am in my 31st Hour of Waking. Oddly enough, I don't really feel all that tired...
I have been awake since midday yesterday. I didn't sleep at all last night. Not one wink. However, it was on purpose.
I haven't been sleeping well at all since The Music Essay of Doom (henceforth referred to as "Doom") and my staying up until 4am finishing it the day it was due. Sure, it wasn't a good move, and I knew it at the time. But it was either A) stay up as long as I needed to finish Doom; or B) "wake up early the next morning" to finish it, accidentally sleep in, and not get it finished on time, let alone handed in on time.
So, while it was a bad idea, it was still the better idea...
Seeing as it's been, what, three weeks since I finished Doom? I decided to take drastic measures. I remembered telling Tyler about staying up all night once and managing to somehow reset my body-clock after a bought of later and later sleeptimes, so I thought I'd try it again. Hence, I have reinitiated Project: Restart, and am 27 hours in.
Admitedly, the original run may have started at a slightly earlier hour, but that was unavoidable. After all, I only decided to enforce it last night after signing out of MSN. This was at about 1am.
So the plan is to stay awake until no later than 11 tonight and then promptly fall asleep.
