Just bought HP7. Kate was not reading it fast enough (not that I blame her; she has been quite ill, making the book too heavy to read), and people at uni and on public transport were ruining things for me, so I felt I had to take action. I almost picked up the normal copy, but then I noticed the Adult Version and picked it up instead. How could I resist? With the promise of increased sex and violence in this version... :P

Oh, and Music and Gender looks like it'll be a really good course too. I'm not looking forward to all of these sellf-chosen-topic assignments (Ed and now M&G) - I think we all remember my Music and Media/Black Parade explosion - but I reckon I'll handle them better this time around. I seriously hate choosing my own research topics, though. In High School it was the same. At least with my Geography and Chemistry SRPs/ISPs I was given a list of topics "or choose your own". But then when it came time for the Religion ISP... the first choice was far too broad, the second far too specific, and the one I ended up with was vague (and the assignment produced there from lacked any sense of direction, argument and every other basic prerequisite for an ISP, especially one that received such a high mark 0_o). And then there was Music and Media and my inability to choose a topic, let alone understand how the three options for underlying structure in any way related to how Charles was suggesting we go about the assignment. Tres confusement.

*back to reading*

edit: and to wondering what has become of Andrew... QLD, perhaps?
edit2: and to wondering how Glen is dealing with the end of HP...
