... in which I find out what happened with Lynn and Kelly.
Lynn (who is male, just so we're clear) came over to my place this afternoon, quite randomly, while I was bringing clothes in off the line. Thankfully I'd been to uni so I wasn't a complete mess.
We talked.
I apologised for being my usual flirty, hands-on, drunken self. He apparently hadn't really cared, and had even hugged (and possibly kissed) me on the way to the station, along with everyone else. I have several blanks in the memory from that night, as proven by photos, so I'm not going to argue. I'm just happy that I overreacted :D
Lynn hasn't had anyone to talk to since Friday night. Family came back last night from QLD, but... they're family. He didn't have Kelly's number, so he couldn't call her and talk to her directly. And he couldn't get in touch with Amy, either, so he couldn't get her number that way. Poor thing.
It's so sweet though, if you ignore Kelly's boyfriend. So very, very sweet.
Turns out he really is just that dense, though. Didn't notice us asking him if he'd go out with her if the opportunity presented itself. Didn't notice... well, Kelly and her Liking him since he started working with us. But he didn't want to go up to her and tell her he liked her because of a story she'd told one night we were all out about a friend being Creepy Lover Boy with her and practically cornering her in a bar. IT'S SO CUTE!!! They're so into each other, and they're completely unawares. Except that I told Lynn I reckoned Kelly does/did Like him, so he's got some confidence to call her and talk to her and be gentlemanly. *overwhelming urge to hug Lynn and Kelly*
I hope she drops Aaron.
This'll make our trip to Lynn's place for A Night In mighty interesting.
Miiiiighty interesting.
