Ahh, well, maths is out of the way - now i only have the 3unit Maths exam, the Geograaphy exam and my music performance.

I came home, actually, in a rather good mood, which is odd seeing as i did barely any study, which shows how odd it is that the exam was relatively easy (and i am an increasingly non-maths person), and found my brother and father watching Fawlty Towers episodes over lunch. Naturally, i joined them.
Note for all those who are oblivious to the splendour of Fawlty Towers: GO! WATCH! NOW!!
Anyway, back to me and my good mood; i think that it was a partiularly good mood (yes, was) because of the fact that a) i think the exam went well and b) [livejournal.com profile] hydeist_ dropped maths, or at least i think he did (i'm happy for him because now he can spend more time on subjects he likes and study more). However, this surprisingly good mood was brought to an abrupt stop when i realised, as i made my third sandwhich (it is amazing how much more i eat when i am at home than when i am at school) that i had forgotten what happened about two thirds of the way through the exam - a teacher came round and gave us in music our performance timetable and apparently i am on at 9:00am Monday morning. This wouldn't be so bad had i not specifically told them that i could only get one accompanist between 12:00 and 2:00 that day, and that my Midnight Swim in Support of Phrasemuffin Band (as i have come to call them) will have only just gotten back from tour, only just gotten back from missing a week and a half of work, missing a week and a half of uni, so maybe taking another day off won't be as "ok" with them as it might have been the first fucking day the exam was set for last fucking week! And Merlino has the audacity t ocome up to me before the exam and tell me that "Don't Get Much Around" - yes, that IS what he called it - was good when he bundled into class sometime two weeks ago and i was singing for the class (it wasn't just me for those of you not in my class - we were all performing for everyone else). All i could do when he was talkign was smile and nod and be my usual fake-cheery self while i secretly was thinking "how on earth did my dad not jump down this guys thoat over the phone when they spoke last?" And how dare he tell us that we have the following options in relation to unavailable accompanists (who are only unavailable beause he keeps screwing us round):

a) use a recording/backing track ........................ how do i get a Mid Dip track when they are on tour and don't have commercially available backing tracks?
b) perform accapella .................................... doesn't work so well when you do actually need an accompanist for the ENSEMBLE topic you dickheads!
c) Appeal ............................................... i shouldn't have to! and who says he will accept it? yes, for all you who don't go to my severly-lacking-in-common-sense school, HE is in charge of the appeals and whether they are accepted, so do you think our listing, under reason for appeal, "Curriculum Coordinator is a dick" will be acceptable? i think not, however true it may be.

... *slowly settling down* ... anyway, my dad and i have spoken and we have agreed that we need to speak to Merlino the Malicious with Miss Drury and get this whole mess sorted out. We are thinking maybe Wednesday, my day off before Geography, so let's hope he and Miss are both available.
