I have a problem

I have a concept - Tok'Kir's Caffe - but I have no idea what to do with it. I don't know if I want an LJ community based on it, I don't know if I want a set of short stories based on it, and I don't know if I want to manifest it in any other form. Also, if I were to manifest it in some such form, I'm not sure what to do with it beyond that. An LJ community is only good if there is a point to it and if there are people in it who actively participate. Short stories would be cool, but I'd need to finish the Daily Tag mag and TPR Season 1 before I start writing them, not only so I could focus purely on the short stories and the plot creation etc, but also because there is strong possibility that the stories would be post-war/Ovis stories. Other manifestations, such as a community/message-board/town/city/thingy (like was being run at school by certain friends *stares at particular lj-friend lol*) would need other establishments and a wide variety of posters...

However, the lack of certainty about practical applications hasn't wavered my want to do something with Tok'Kir's Caffe... I think I just need some fresh ideas

ok, but it'll take some time to get even more characters sorted, as well as the actual plot lines. Though, if I do go with short stories, I think the caffe will be kind of like a Cheese Outlet (noting the use of the Pathetic term as opposed to the "normal" term's meaning), disguised as a caffe. Their speciality will be muffins (duh!), coffee, and all sorts of gizmology and gadgetry from one of Insomi Seuno's star apprentices. They'll also have a lunch special =D

Id say Shorts. Why not draw it?

well, that makes 2 votes for short stories.
A comic would be cool, and since I started reading Dr. McNinja (if you haven't read it, go read it now!!! - it's so delightfully random and insane, it's exactly what I want my comic-to-be to be) I've wanted to write at least one. The only problem is my sometimes-lack of being able to replicate the same character - i.e. each time I draw someone, they look different. The first few comics would have to be extremely basic, and I don't want to diminish the power that is Tok'kir's Caffe...

Ha, Ill start in a week.

Oh, I know what you mean aobut replication.

What's the Tok'kir's Caffe story, anyways?

Good

Good

I don't have one yet, apart from the basis for the stories-to-be.
(If you haven't already, go to my community, tag_end, and at least read the Glossary of Pathetic Terms if not all the stories =D you'll need that to understand a few things. I'll mark them with a Pt for Pathetic Term)
Basis: Tok'kir(Pt), after helping to defeat Teh Ovis(Pt) etc, has decided to open a Cheese Shop(Pt) fronting as an oldde-school Caffe. There he sells muffins, coffee, cakes, tea, and an assortment of other delicious things to the general public. To special guests, he sells Cheese(Pt) - advanced technology (even for their time) taking the form of weaponry, stealth/defence devices and other such gadgetry and gizmology. These are provided by Insomi Seuno(Pt)'s nephew - a master inventor/mechanic like his uncle turned cook/chef/coffee-maker. Each plot line would probably have something to do with the... intriguing characters they would come across in their little Caffe (not including Christmas Specials where the duo team up to save Christmas from the clutches of the Evil Santa Claws... *insert something less lame here*)
