So, today I thought I would share a revelation that I had this morning.

Sex for the sake of sex, or to prove that you truly do subscribe to a particular sexuality, does not count as sex. It is not based on attraction, chemistry, lust, love, or whatever you want to call it. It is based on how strong your will is, and how much you want/need to prove to others that you can do it.

The level of hormones a teenager has pumping through their blood and what that does to one's sex drive has a similarly negating effect. Especially in males. A male, in the right (or wrong) circumstance, can succumb to the need while ignoring particular environmental factors, whether they are gay or straight.

For this reason, I'm changing my status from "bi" to "gay".

This is definitely something I'm going to have to tell Peter. When I told him I was bi, he came out with that whole "the bisexual male is a myth" load of crap. Personally, I don't believe that's true; I think that guys can be bi just as much as girls can. I just no longer think I can classify myself as bi.

Anyway, that's my big thing for today. Yay for being on break!

I told you I was bi. I think it was that time on MSN when I told you I thought you were heaps wise because of your view on labels and sexuality. And if not, I'm fairly certain I've mentioned thinking that calling myself bi sounds like a cop-out for various reasons.

Besides, it's in my user info. Maybe not here, but definitely on Last.FM.

Ahh yess yess... bi is such a silly label in all honesty though. All labels are. But sometimes you really have to just generalise yourself for others and pidgeon hole yourself for the sake of going "Oh yes but I'm a homosexual with heterosexual tendancies" and confusing the fuck out of everybody and send strange weird signals this way and that. Sexuality is strange and quite unclassifiable the majority of the time as it extends much deeper than just one word, but for conversational purposes, they suffice.

HAHA, me hard to fool? :P Yeah... right! What alternative universe do you come from? I seem to recall batman signals...!!!

Yeah, I know what you mean. Labels suck. They're just time-savers, and general-idea givers.

And yes, I too seem to remember something vague about confusion involving the bat signal. But that's just how I am with friends sometimes. I'm way too shy to actually flirt on purpose... most of the time. And I'd like to go on record as saying that I think some things were read into a little too deeply. Like the "Hot photo, dude" comment. I can't help it if the truth sounds like flirting. But that doesn't mean I was flirting.

It honestly didn't phase me dude. And I've actually forgotten the majority of it which is just a testament to how miniscule it all was in the grand scheme of things imho (the only thing I remember actually is my batman comment... I was quite witty! :P). Take that as you will though, but I like you alot as a friend and don't particularly want you to go anywhere soon :)

And I'm not going to think about it, cause it's all the past :P

And I've actually forgotten the majority of it. That's actually kinda annoying, because you never told me what it was that I'd said/done, and I always wondered. I'm always curious about how people see me. That's why I ask people if/why they thought I was gay. Ellis is the only person who's ever been able to give me a solid answer, and even then it was nothing I could really work with. :(

And how could you not like me heaps? I am, in all honesty, pretty damn awesome :P. Then again, so are you. So you're not allowed to go anywhere either, k?
