... in which I relate another dream. Except differently-like.
Unfortunately, this dream was had a couple of night ago and I didn't write anything down straight away, so I don't remember as much as I would like to. However, I can still write down the main gist of things.
We were in a town that, curiously enough, was at least partially composed of the USYD campus. By "we", I mean myself and the other members of Torchwood, that spin-off from Doctor Who with the hot John Barrowman. He was there. Yay.
We'd been called in to investigate something, but we didn't know what it was 'til we got there: giant animals, though I referred to them several times as "rabid" animals. The first part that I remember clearly is the first attack. We'd driven into the town and spoken to some people, and then this pack of wolves started chasing us, and one of them was HUGE; it was about my height, and everything was in normal proportions for a wolf. It was a white wolf, too, which seems odd upon reflection. There were other animals with it, though, and we all rushed back into the car, only to find that Toshiko was missing; she must have gone off to ask questions by herself for some reason. We drove off to save her.
The next part I remember is taking refuge in a hall (again with the hall..?), only the hall was quite old and looked pretty feeble. Nevertheless, people were having a concert, completely ignoring the fact that there were giant animals on the loose outside. Even odder was the fact that you had to be naked to attend the concert... which is odd because I was the only one who seemed to know that. Ah well, John Barrowman was there (though he wasn't aware of the rule, sadly), so everything was good.
Gwen, Toshiko and I took a seat about halfway into the audience, where two of the Gilmore Girls were standing - Suki/Sooki and Lorelai. Except that they'd gotten a look-alike to play Lorelai. She wasn't in the concert, so at this point I realised I must have been acting in a show, or was in a show that was acting around me. But the fear was real. It was like I was in the holodeck, but without the safety protocols engaged.
All of a sudden, a swarm of the giant beasts stormed the hall. Everyone ran off in different directions, and I was magically clothed again. Phew! Suki/Sookie, someone else and I all went the same way - out the back of the hall. Except that the back of the hall seemed to be someone else's house. An old and rickety house with splintering wooden beams and crumbling floors. Three of the beasts followed us in: something tall and leggy, like an emu, who's upper half I never saw; what looked like a giant stick insect, except that the "stick" characteristic had been replaced by something more akin to a long line of oddly connected antlers, or perhaps a long and unfinished nest; and, finally, the wolf. I was hiding behind the door, and I knew that the wolf would probably smell me, but I hoped that, like cats, he'd find it hard to see me if I didn't move, so I didn't. Suki/Sookie, on the other hand, had decided to stand by the other wall and adopt the same motionlessness that I had. The other person, I believe, had run all the way through to the next room, or outside, whichever was on the other side of the other door. All three of the beasts seemed to go through without noticing us.
Lucky. That's all I remember of that one.
There was also one this morning that I kept wanting to write down, but didn't get a chance to. There were two parts to it, the first part possibly having someone grab my arm, and the second part almost being a Part Two to a dream I had ages ago, or perhaps a spin-off. Sadly, though, that's all I remember. I seriously wish I'd written something down. Anything. Just something that could trigger a memory to unlock the dream. I know it's in there somewhere... :(
Also, a question: why am I always bleeding? Not in dreams, just, you know, in general.
Tomorrow night I think I'm having dinner with Cyn and Phoebe (of the giving of the bandaid) and three of their school friends. Dylan is also supposed to drop by later. Also, there is to be drinking, I think, which I'm iffy about at the moment.
I want to be Linkin Park's fairy as depicted on the cover for Hybrid Theory. I think it would be cool to be a fairy and have wings and still be tough.

He is.

Obviously I figured as much, but it was a couple comments in before I did. I still cannot imagine what it was that I said that made him think me a flaming queen, or whatever the specific term was. I haven't said anything in your journal to rival what he said... until tonight. Not that I remember, anyway, and I think I'd remember that.
Sigh. This will bug me.

As for rivaling him, I'm not sure that that is possible.
