HEY GUYS!

Does anyone in/near/close-ish to Sydney want to come see an opera at the Conservatorium of Music? Tickets are $20 if you're a student, or $45 full/$40 seniors/$35 concession. One of my friends from SUMS, Patrick, is going to be in it and I want to see him perform... but I don't want to go alone *puppy-dog-eyes & pout*.

Also, it's in English! So no subtitles necessary.

Possible dates are as follows:
Tuesday 23 September // 7.00pm
Thursday 25 September // 7.00pm - will probably have some sort of dress run for...
Saturday 27 September // 4.00pm
- ... the SUMS concert.
(sadly, opening night, Sat 23rd, is already sold out :( )

Anyone? y/y?

You remember that the SUMS concert is on the Saturday, right?

No. No I didn't remember that. Thank you.
Also, because of this, we'll probably have another dress run thingy on the Thursday.

That leaves just Tuesday.

I've got the SUMS schedule stuck up on my wall, and you might be in luck for the Thursday, because it says that the dress rehearsal is the Friday. But I seem to remember the rehearsal being moved last semester... Anyway they can't have an ODS rehearsal on the Thursday, SUWO has that building booked out every Thursday night.

Oh, I was thinking the In Performance Spaces dress rehearsal, for teh blockings and whatnots.

But yeah, I was thinking of it being moved last semester too. I don't want to have to miss work for SUMS... that's just inefficient!

Yeah, so was I, I just have a tendency to say stuff (and type stuff) on the assumption that people already knew the stuff I left out. Which they usually don't, because I said the left-out-stuff *in my head*.

Anyway, the tech/dress rehearsal is on the Friday. But it says TBC - which should be TBA, but no one seems to have noticed this. [/pedantry]

I always thought TBC was meant to be To Be Continued. This is what happens when one acronym can mean two different things, I guess.

I want to see the flying mouse, but I can't afford even that. I'm sorry. :(

That's ok. I can barely afford it myself. But if I can't justify it by dragging friends along, I think I'll just whack it with my "Too much $$$s" stamp, shake my fist at my 'employer', and make my apologies to Pat the next time I see him.

(I actually thought it was the deflater mouse the first time Pat mentioned it. Silly me!)
