They lay
Nine bloodied owls
Their knowledge now unfurls
In their pools of crimson wisdom
Now never shall they grace nocturnal skies

Arise
Self-thought despised
For knowledge now unclean
And not welcome outside a dream
This action has destroyed your life surmised

no suicides, please
your thoughts, we can appease
no suicides, we beg
for your lifeless forms, we dread

she doesn't, but with the owl in Barn Owl symbolising death and all due to the great Athena's owl (can't remember how they relate exactly but i think Athena had an Owl), and the whole "let's go kill the owl" thing the kid feels, and the perception that the owl symbolises wisdom too.

did you get who it was that commited suicide? the above paragraph might help if you didn't.(that was to everyone). it is a class of people, or a steriotype if you will, not one individual - the 9 are linked by this common characteristic.
