LOL, yesterday during a practice lesson for my HSC pieces, i told my teacher what Catacombs by Midnight Swim was about and she suggested i do the following during the performance.
1. Dress all in black - shirt, dress pants, school shoes, everything
2. Turn all the lights down really low.
3. Have a single lighted candle in front of me.
4. Have a box of letters and photos etc to rip up and "cast out"
5. Possibly, depending on fire safety, burn a letter or photo ... or two, or three, or more
6. Kick Ass with my performance because i am communicating the story visually as well as orally.
I had fun listening to Miss describe how that would work.
Not so much fun listening to her explain which muscles are used in singing (dawn_of_buffy knows what i am talking about here), but lots of fun other wise.
