Ahh, today was my last day at work until the end of the year after the HSC. It was a pretty good day actually, a good end to my run for now. And it made me think about the past year during which i have worked there - memories of all the people i have seen and who have seen me in particular.

The first person who saw me at work was the infamous hydeist_. it was my first day and i am sure i looked extremely lost (i was even wearing my school shoes, seeing as i went straight from school). i didn't see hydeist_ there of course - he was on the other side of the enclosure i think and i was focused on listneing to my new boss explain things to me.

The second person to see me (and i actually got to see this one) was Filipophish. His parents were there too, as well as his brother, and it was during another shift with my boss (how odd). anyway, he was the second friend.

Third was ab_bebop's older sister (who performed last night) and their mum. they didn't recognise me, but i recognised them.

Then came the host of teachers (parts of their names have been hidden to protect their identities)- ro_an, mor__ra (both), mor_n, ry_n, possibly t_lintire (no idea on spelling), and i am sure there were others.

And finally, today, I saw ashtray_girl633. on my last shift, about three minutes after my shift ended but while i was still doing the float, she popped out of nowhere, said "i just thought i would say hi" and while i am standing there like a stunned mullet, she has to go places to see people and so she leaves (it wasn't as cutting as it may sound, but it was definately a little "there one moment, gone the next").

During the year, several friends have threatened to come and see me at work to mock or laugh or what ever else, but they never did, thankfully. So it was with this final visit from a friend that my last day at Baker's Delight ended, i went home, and life went on as usual ... until next weekend i am sure.

what do you mean by "more is yet to come"?

unless you have plans for post-HSC shifts, in which case you have way too much time on your hands if you are planning that far ahead

well then, unless this will interfere with your plans, i think i should probably just deactivate Aless for a while and officially upgrade you from evil snow to Holiday Ben, just so you can concentrate on the trials instead of your plans. for now at least.

*flicks switches, presses buttons, pulls levers*

right, there we go - hibernation state achieved and full-upgrade complete. you are all set for a night on the town.
