Yes! I finally got an extra shift at work! *phew*

Yesterday, which was Saturday (my usual day), was the first time in 3 weeks that I had my usual shift time - 8am->1:30pm, instead of 10am->2pm - which made me feel happy because it's an extra hour and a half's worth of pay, which will be especially needed what with Uni and all this year and me having to pay for, oh, everything from now until I die... but I've lost track of what I was saying...

however, it was once again, my only shift for the previous week, so I got to sit around bored shitless AGAIN! and do pretty much nothing all those days. BUT! to make matters worse, my boss didn't have the roster ready because of an incident involving Fireman Sam, her son, and the family computer's operating system crashing. All I know is that her son said something like "you let me play"... and that is the last time we shall mention that.

So, after a full shift, a break I was made to take (but wasn't able to sit down during, making it 5.5hours of standing up -_______-), and having to stand up for 5.5 hours (yes, repetition does drive the point home harder), I had no idea when I was working next. Therefore I just assumed it would be next Saturday, same time.

But I was wrong.

Today I got called up out of the blue, at 1 o'clock, and they wanted me to come in! I was all like "stfu! no wayzers!!!1!" and other emo-tic rebelious youth phrases... I said "yeah sure I'll be there as soon as I can". It was a close shift with my boss, but it's Sunday rates, so it was worth it.

Then, at work, I get an sms from my boss (who I was then-currently working with) that I have next Saturday with the reduced hours. But, to compensate, I HAVE NEXT SUNDAY AS WELL!!! Same close shift, same boss!partnering, but same $$$s, so it's ok...ish.

*edit* yeah, I know I sound like a total plastic, obsessed with the moneys, but really that's all work is good for, so it's not my fault!!! *nods fervently to convince self*... but seriously, you know what I mean, and if you don't you probably wouldn't understand the mice.
