(no subject)

*shame*
It took three weeks of guilt, a nudge by yodallama and a request by hydeist_, but I finally got here.
~!~YAY~!~
I think I should start at the beginning and work my way forward, but seeing as there are 3 weeks worth of info to cover, I'll keep it to the main things.

1. On the Monday of Week 1 of Absence, I purhased a Wacom Graphire3 Tablet(6x8). It is fucking awesome. I love it. I would kill/die for it... well, almost. (and believe me, I could rant a lot more about it's teh_awesome!ness nature, but like I said, I'm trying to keep it short).

2. On Wednesday of W1A, I fell asleep at about 5pm and didn't wake up until 5am the next morning... it was weird, and I had to wash my unifrom for work (at 5am, trying to keep a washing machine quiet in a tiled area is hard), so I was failry annoyed. Plus, I hadn't been woken for dinner the night before, so I wasn't too happy 'bout that either. At least I got to uni on time.

3. Twice in three days of W1A did I wake up with 10 minutesto get to my bus and therfore missed it. Actually had to be driven to the station one day and still got there 15 minutes late (but I passed the bus that I had missed on the way walking bak to Uni - the station is further than the Uni, so I had to walk back down the bus route - so I know I would have been late anyways).

4. ... random crap I forgot...

5. Worked four days in a week and earned really good pay.

6... I LOVE MY TABLET!!!

7. Friday of W3A, I met outtonight over MSN through yodallama. She was kinda insane, but I guess it was understandable - she hadn't ever used MSN before, and we were communicating by sending pictures (using out tablets) of ourselves killing the other... 'twas fun, in a sadistic way ^.^

8. Got accepted on Elfwood (http://elfwood.lysator.liu.se/art/p/h/phrasemuffin/phrasemuffin.html) and made an account on Deviant Art (http://phrasemuffin.deviantart.com/gallery/). Finally finished my hydeist_ pic post-pHQ, and drew two new characters from scratch with my tablet - Draygo and Kazmuffin. Also created third new character and have profiles for all three, I just need to actually draw her... but Amber Muto (yodallama in the same way that GooBer is dawn_of_buffy and Kazmuffin is kazaly on LJ) is proving difficult.

This is the first official artwork made solely with my new tablet. I made it the day I got said tablet, so excuse the roughness, but due to context, I think it works.

From there, I went and made:

I still think there should be something hanging from the end of the sword... something small and shiny, totally in keeping with hydeist_'s ways... but I already used that on his ear. To do it again would be silly me thinks.
