This is the first official artwork made solely with my new tablet. I made it the day I got said tablet, so excuse the roughness, but due to context, I think it works.



From there, I went and made:

And finally finished hydeist_:


I still think there should be something hanging from the end of the sword... something small and shiny, totally in keeping with hydeist_'s ways... but I already used that on his ear. To do it again would be silly me thinks.

hydeist_'s stomach freaks me out, lol. It's very...intimidating? Which I suppose might be part of the point..hmmm...and I also think it wouldn't look silly to have something small and shiney hanging from the end of the sword...but then, I'm rather partial to small shiney, dangly things myself.

Well, seeing as hydeist_ (my friend... *realises this is an inadequate qualifier* the real one...*ditto* the one who has an acount on LJ) is filo and has fairly strong Asian ties, and seeing as that whole "dangling shiney thing" seems rather Asian/Anime-ish to me, it really seemed to fit with the hydeist_ you see above.
