At my ortho appointment this arvo, I nearly got wire-cuttings in my eye. The dude had his fingers in my mouth trying to fit in the new wire, but it was too long. So, instead of taking it out of my mouth first to cut it, he just decided to cut it right there. The damn thing flew to about a centimetre above my eye. Then, while he was trying to get it off my face, he was jabbing at my closed eye. WTF!! Stupid ortho guy. I wish I hadn't changed from my first guy. He was so much better. And way less creepy.

Anyway, on to real news. My dad is playing drums in the orchestra for The Regals Musical Society's presentation of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. He hasn't played drums properly since before I was born, but they were desperate, and my family is pretty tight with Regals. The musical director for this show is my cousin's boyfriend, and my other cousin met her husband through Regals... so... yeah. We have tickets for this Saturday, but Michael's band, Dead Letter Chorus, is having an EP launch at The Loft (which is either UTS or UNSW... :S) that night, so Kate and I'll be going to that. We're thinking of getting tickets for another night. This means, however, that my mother and brother will have three spare seats this Saturday unless they can fill them (we got a family pass which has 5 tickets before my dad was asked to play).

I really want to go back to Oxford Street. Can't be for at least another week though, unfortunately, as I'm going to the Lewisham Hotel to see some band that Amy and Sara saw recently... Yeah, that's about all I know :S but I'm sure it'll be a good time. It always is with those guys :D

And finally, I got my george stuff. The sheet music is awesome and love and I've started playing a couple of the songs. The CDs all had cracked cases, but I'm not going to worry about that, especially not after they were kind enough to send me my stuff without any proof of my having paid them. Even though I did. And I absolutely love the sax on the Elixir CD. I so need to learn the sax and the cello. Neeeeeed to. Right now!

That is all.
