Only sometimes though, much like last night. I went in thinking that i would rather be at home on my death bed (which is just a bed of nails) than going to a stupid swimming carnival. However i was blissfully surprised. One friend, d_vinci, started the night out sick, with sunglasses to cover his red puffy eyes (i don't think they ever were red and puffy cuz i never saw any evidence), and Bebop, my new friend here on LJ, wore his sunglasses to make d_ not stand out so much, and then left the night sick. But I'll get to that later...
So, the carnival – how could it be fun you ask? Well that's simple – we didn't have to do anything. We (the prefects of my school) were going to help out and do menial tasks that the teachers felt they were above (while really far below them). However, another school's prefects took care of all the jobs so we were relegated to Cheer Squad. But seeing as our school's best swim was second the entire night (and the rest were first or second ... last), we really didn't have much to cheer about.
So this sounds like it would be boring right? WRONG Little Minion Peoples!!!!!
Bebop, d_ and i amused ourselves all night long with pathetic childish games of “the alphabet game” (minus the alcohol), “adverb” (about someone already mentioned in a previous post, hint, hint), and “Imaginary I-Spy”. Then Bebop began eating paper, had one latte with two packets of sugar, and a second, bigger latte, with three packets of sugar. Bebop isn't a coffee man, so this was quite fun. These are probably what made him sick.
But wait a minute, I've skipped the best part, you say. Yeah, when Bell was dared to wear his sunglasses all night. I realised later that this can actually be dangerous for the eyes, so i told him he could stop. But he said “what's the point? You can't brake what isn't fixed.” Note to explain his(slightly embellished/completely overhauled) comment: his glasses are prescription. BWOOHOOHAAHAA, but so are mine ... meep.
The punishment of him taking his glasses off (three times) was rude, insulting comments here on LJ (or at least comments slightly amusing to the general public). So here goes:
the character, Goober, the Great Pathetic, the deaf drunk in The Pathetic Race, was based on Bebop
Bebop is a fool
He really likes to drool
His favourite pastimes are eating snails
And in his skin, embedding nails
Bebop's new haircut is ... um ... er ... ... ... ... ... (thinking music) ... ... ... laughable?
Okay, so i lied last night when i said i had all three down pat, but i think (except for the last one) they're alright.
(Deflated meep)
