First of all, I would like to thank all of you who bothered to comment on my last post. There is one pending application, one who hasn't (and probably won't seeing as it has been this long, and for that reason was chosen as the "forgiven one"), and a few who haven't even come online to see the post (therefore can't be deleted), but other than that all are in. Unfortunately I can't unscreen tham because I still expect a few possible additions and I don't want to contaminate their thoughts, so you will have to wait and see.
Second, for those of you have missed my poetics (I know, there are only like ... 2 of you), I have a gift.
Reprise of the Scorned
Just because it was that way once
Doesn’t mean this time’s the same
And just because you got your way once
Doesn’t mean that it’s your way once more
Because life’s not worth living
When you’re giving and giving
Having nothing returned
And always getting burned
Just because you said you loved me once
Doesn’t mean that once was ever enough
And just because I said it back once
Didn’t mean we would be “forever”
Because it’s just not working
When you’re always at work
No time for me, or even “us”
And when you’re always grunting, making a fuss, huffing and puffing and being gruff, beating me down with your blank, cold eyes until I wish you would die …
Just because we said “I do”,
You chose me and I chose you,
Just because we once had love
Doesn’t mean I don’t hate you
For what you’ve turned me into
It is amazing what a little water and white tiles will do to one's mind, as evidenced in The Clarity in White Tiles and Ice ... have I even posted that one yet? I should check that.
And finally, there is one more poetic to come, but I am debating whether I should post it or not. I fear that one will misread (even though I doubt he still reads my LJ, he could be informed by someone else who misreads it), that one will have unpleasant memories revisit, and that the rest of you will think I need help ... well, more than usually. It is called Adam's Requiem for those of you who wish to know, and I might end up posting it ...
... or not ... ?
Oh, and my study habits are so bad - I have admittedy attempted study everyday this week, but I am still only half way through geo. I think I have all my Maths and Chem (or almost so) and Eglish should only require revision of texts/techniques/contexts/interplaying-connectivites-therein, and that leaves Music (easy-ish) and SOR (bludge-ish). I still have a week and a bit to write and then study my notes, so I shoudl be ... OKish ... or something like that. If anyone wants to help, though, they are welcome to do so - I won't say no (unless it is malicious or otherwise destructive/disruptive "help" ... obviously) ...
