Did my ICE practical test today. ICE is the compulsory remedial computers course all education students have to take, and it is so fucking boring. The things we've learnt they've taught include copying, pasting, saving documents, how to use the Apple equivalent of paintbrush (yeah, 'cause we learn on Apples wtf?), and other crap like that. The only reason I kept going was because it was compulsory there was supposed to be something new at the end (something about databases or something, which I don't use/know, and could therefore be helpful), and it was supposed to be last week, but Monday was a public holiday, so... I didn't go. The most helpful information I gained from the course is that Apples are crap - Apple mice have only one button, and the shift, alt/command, control and apple keys' functions are fucked up.

I got to my class at like 11:03am, when the class starts at 11:05 (all classes start 5-past, end 5-to), but somehow all the seats were taken. Our room is a tiny little computer lab, but still! It's MY CLASS!! And I couldn't sit it in there. He told me to come back during the next hour, which I couldn't do, so I sat it in the next room ALL ALONE!

I so could have cheated in my solitude if I had forgotten how to... I dunno, copy things? W.T.F? He kept asking if I was ok, making sure I wouldn't cheat, saying "now, I can trust you, can't I?" and all this crap. I felt like slapping him and calling him a whore telling him off for insulting me.

Oh, and we'd been learning on Apple Works (basically the Apple version Microsoft Office, I think), but then I go in and the exam is on Word! I was so thrown by the change that I almost forgot how to insert the page number [/sarcasm][stab]

But, anyway, it's over now and I never have to go back! Well, assuming I passed the exam, of course :P

In the past couple of days, I forgot to mention a couple of things, so here they are:

- Thursday, I bought Sam's Town (The Killers) and I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love (My Chemical Romance) while waiting for Linguistics Tutorial to start.

- Friday, my parents left for a South Coast holiday. My uncle and aunt have a holiday house that they let people "borrow", and they offered it to us this weekend. My parents were the only ones free enough to go. :(

- Walking home from work yesterday, still in my uniform, I passed a lady sitting on a fence. Conversations ensued...
Lady On Fence - Did you win?
Me - *confuzzled*... *wondering if she's talking to me or the guy going into the house behind her*
LOF - Did you win the game? How'd the cricket go?
Me - Oh, I didn't play cricket - I was at work. But thanks for asking - very... *trying to think of something not "rude", "stalkerish" "overly-friendly-for-a-stranger"*... "nice" of you...
LOF - *smile*
Me - *walking off*

For those of you who have never seen the old Baker's Delight uniform, I wear a white shirt and stark white pants. It's always nice walking to or from work with the sun shining, blinding people as I pass. :D

- Two cute guys at work yesterday, both served by me. The second one even gave me a real smile, and it was so purdy :) I fall for guys waaay too easily.

- Today, on the bus ride home, another cute guy. ONOZ! Wearing a blue tank top, built to just the right level, with the smoothest skin I've ever seen, cute whoops-I-forgot-to-shave-for-two-days stuble, gorgeous naturally-wavey non-product hair, and the sexiest blue eys I've ever seen. I am such a sucker for blue eyes. Plus, I'm fairly certain he wasn't straight... just the way he was watching other guys get on the bus. *shrugs* And he was way too good-looking to be straight :P

aaw, that's so awesome. people at my work don't do that because my work is laaaame.

I've got work tomorrow morning, and cancelled Sunday's shift for more Uni-work time because I'm a nerd hardcore. Apart from that, the closest thing I have to plans is pancakes for breakfast on Sunday. But after monday (when assignments are due) I'll be planning meet-ups, catch-ups and get-togethers for a couple of friends, assuming all goes well XD
