Bus to Uni didn't come this morning. Had to get the train, and got lost getting out of Central. I still haven't figured out which is the best exit to use for Uni, nor how to get to any other exit bar the one that leads to the second-floor Hungry Jacks or whatever it is. It's the same exit used when we went to UNSW for the Titration competition with Chemistry in Year 12... or was it 11...

Got to first class with about half an hour left, feeling rather ill, and the class wasn't there. WTF?! This is the same class that wasn't there last week. So I checked my uni emails and apparently there was a huge mix up with timetabling, and some people were told that it would be in Carslaw (like me) and others that it would be in the Quadrangle (like not me). I started thinking that maybe I was told Carslaw because I enrolled at the end of last year, while some people would have enrolled just before semester began, hence timetable issues, hence the fuck up, but that doesn't really fit. Still, they are the Internet Department (or close enough to), so they should have been more on the ball.

EDUF assignment one is fast approaching. Have to meet up with Meghan to work stuff out. Like the topic. The question. The articles. Nothing major. Will do so tomorrow morning in the old Group Work Meeting Space (i.e. Manning, Second Floor). :D

Had my lunch space invaded by Girl Waiting For A Performance Studies Class That Wasn't On. Was rather unhappy. Does she not know that I go there to get away from people? Does she not know that I don't like eating in front of people? Doesn't she care??? I feel so cut right now :(

Had a weird feeling that I was about to be attacked by a wolf from behind walking up to Woolley Building on my break after feeding. This was before the sugar-induced headache though, so... yeah, I ate a bag of Allen's Fruit Bats (?) a little too quickly. If only they'd had the Natural Confectionery Co. snakes.

OH! And on the way to my Digital Music class today, I forgot it had been moved (pattern, much?), and met a guy in my class. Turns out we have all the same subjects, except he doesn't do Education. He's been doing eduaction, but this semester, he's only doing 18 credit points. He's lazy; he's an Arts student :P Anyway, point is he's cool. And his breathing is strangely alluring. I was sitting next to him in class, and started breathing louder than normal. It sounded like he was sleeping, and all I could think was "I could so fall asleep next to you". Kind of a random thought, but it helps that he wasn't hard on the eyes/

That's another thing - guys at uni, and my being surrounded by them. There are so many hot guys. And there are so many kinds of "hot". Walking to the bus from Music, there was a guy - blonde, built solidly, a real athletic/surfer-lookin' dude. Then, directly behind him, there was this guy with... stunning looks. Blue eyes, gorgeous hair. Just stunning. Then there's Sleep Breathing (his name is Issac, he's in a band and he dresses kinda emo-ish, so all signs point to yes) and all the rest. I find it rather intimidating and it does nothing for confidence. Sigh.

Plans for the week: go out Friday, don't get smashed; have fun with Amy, don't hit on Curtis; be company, not companion. AND OMG I THINK KELLY WILL BE BACK BY THEN!!! WOOOT

central station *is* very confusing, but fortunately, that country platform exit is the easiest and second-closest exist to use. There's an underground exit which comes up just around the corner near the bus stops, but because i never use suburban trains, i do not know where its underground end is.

Redfern is said to be closer to uni, but i don't believe it.

GMFAPSCTWO probably didn't know any of those things, you do realise...

and *snigger* at your overactive hormones...

From: [identity profile] phrasemuffin.livejournal.com

Yeah, I've entered through there, I just don't know how to get out through there. How does one reach that exit from inside?! I think I need to catch a train into Central one day when I'm on a tight schedule and just explore. That and find my way from Redfern to see if it is faster, and to figure out where it is in relation to the uni.

I do, but that doesn't make it any better. Ignorance may be bliss, but only for her.

Oh hush, you. I'm male, I'm allowed to have overactive hormones. :P

i fell into a pole and down some stairs today because i was looking at a pretty man, and was startled when he turned and came toward me.

i think he noticed, because he apologised. which was embarrassing.

From: [identity profile] phrasemuffin.livejournal.com

you fell down stairs?! Are you ok?

and maybe he just thought you were getting out of his way? I sometimes walk into things when evading others for the sake of them not walking into me.

then again, maybe he just wanted an excuse to talk to you...

From: [identity profile] highlyeccentric.livejournal.com

i only fell down two small concrete stairs, so yes i am ok :) and maybe it did look like i was getting out of his way. i am unsure.

he was with his equally pretty girlfriend, so i doubt he just wanted to talk to me...

where was this?

and what stall were you at? and in which courtyard?(I likes to ask questions :P)

From: [identity profile] highlyeccentric.livejournal.com

leaving college, on a narrow wonky path near the tennis courts, on my way to awful rendezvous with Exboy.

I was at the Christian Student's Uniting stall in the front manning courtyard. We're responsible for signs saying "Jesus won't make you RICH" and the like.

From: [identity profile] phrasemuffin.livejournal.com

Why for with the rendezvous?

Oh, I didn't get that far up Manning Road today. I was Footbridge -> 2nd Floor (via Graf. Tun.) -> META Resources -> Education Building -> Footbridge (via Wool. at which point I realised Phone was dead, though recharging would not be for hours yet because I am somewhat ditz-ful).

Did you get to listen to all the jazz they played this morning? I don't know which stall it was from, but I was much liking.

From: [identity profile] highlyeccentric.livejournal.com

grrr, long story, i'm aggravated and upset and that's why the ranty text this afternoon.

and what's more everyone else was having a life, so there was no one to hug me when i got home :(

From: [identity profile] phrasemuffin.livejournal.com

aw, I'm sorry. I would have been there for you if I'd known :(

and again I apologise for my inconsistent phone usage - it's been on silent and I hadn't realised. Again I say: I = Ditz. However, I am free between 12 and 2 on Tuesday, 1 and 2 on Ednesday, or after 1 on Monday :D

From: [identity profile] highlyeccentric.livejournal.com

well, given that i have class between 12 and 2 on thursday, and bible study between 1 and 2 on wednesday, monday looks good. If you have stuff to occupy you on campus for an hour, i finishes class at two.

From: [identity profile] phrasemuffin.livejournal.com

yes... o_0

are you purposely avoiding the possibility of meeting on Tuesday, in which case I won't push any further, or was it merely a universally-common Blonde Moment?

From: [identity profile] highlyeccentric.livejournal.com

universally common blonde moment :)

however, monday is more convenient than tuesday, if that's ok with you.

From: [identity profile] phrasemuffin.livejournal.com

Again, I have to apologise to you, Amy. I seem to be cursed when it comes to phone-usage. My phone always seems to be either dead, or silent, or just plain not connecting to the network :( I was really hoping you'd randomly show up either on my way to, or at, Ralph's, but I guess my vibing was off today. I can understand why you wouldn't have, though, seeing as I didn't reply to the sms or the voice message.

Can we maybe try again next week? I promise I'll try and have something fun and interesting to converse on :P

From: [identity profile] highlyeccentric.livejournal.com

i wasn't sure if we'd specified where we were going... so i wandered around looking lost and then gave up :P i was having minimal confidence in my communicating-plans-to-other-people, since the international phone call i'd planned on making this morning muffed up.

yes, we can try again next week and this time we'll make definite plans, like.

From: [identity profile] phrasemuffin.livejournal.com

We didn't, actually, and it wasn't 'til I was at uni that I realised. I thought of going to Bosch like last time, or to the Holme Courtyard like the first time, seeing as I didn't want to go in to Ralph's because... well, I don't go places alone the first time. I may have told you that, or something to that effect, before. It's why I don't buy food on campus. But I digress.

Definite plans are good :P

From: [identity profile] highlyeccentric.livejournal.com

hey! you were supposed to mock me, because i had been mocking you for being distracted by boys... and then i fell hypocritically down stairs...

From: [identity profile] phrasemuffin.livejournal.com

Oh, well, sorry for suddenly growing a circulatory system :P Said circulatory system and the inclusive muscle meant that I felt it far more appropriate to make sure you weren't seriously injured, mediumly injured, or even only-sorta-kinda injured, before I began with the mocking.

And now it's just too late :(

From: [identity profile] highlyeccentric.livejournal.com

a circulatory system! good greif!

anyway, first lesson of Special Amy Moments- amy is often clumsy but hardly ever seriously injured. she is rather dramatic about it, though. Once passed out due to shutting a finger in a door.

From: [identity profile] phrasemuffin.livejournal.com

don't forget the freely-included muscle with proof of purchase!

I did that once, but to little ill effect. Then a girl in my class (this was Year 4) did the same thing, and ended up losing her nail. I think I won.
