You know what's scary? When semi-nightmares have echoes in real life. Remember the guy that I dreamed that had his arms sawn off? With the creepy dead smile? That day, there was a reference to something very similar, and it made me think of the dream straight away. Always weird and irksome when that happens.

You know what's not cool? Possibly freaking someone out because you accidentally implied that previously confessed Feelings were more potent than first expressed.

You know what's annoying? Thinking they're flirting with me, when I know it'd never happen. Sure, he's gay, but he's in a long-term relationship. Except that he's made comments that make me think he doesn't like being in long-term relationships... Oh, and finding out that the purple hair is nothing like the purple I'd imagined.

You know what's frustrating? Finding out they're straight, when you get on with them so well. Better than anyone you've met in the past six months. Better, like they were female. Aaaaand finding out by being prompted to play "Gay Chicken" with him, more specifically my asking if you can still play if you are in fact gay, therefore losing any chance to actually play. Dammit, he was cute! And better than that, he got my logic! NO ONE GETS MY LOGIC!!! :'(

Oh, and Sleep Breathing is straight, too. Good ol' MySpace and it's ability to divulge personal information to people who barely know you (if at all).

I am, however, wondering as to the intentions of the cute 22yr.old that added me on MySpace. He's from my high school, and has super-cutening glasses, but... there's just something about him. It could be the last couple of photos. It could be his un-solicited offering of his email after only two comments, with the note "you seem like a really cool guy, feel free to add me". Then again, he could just be friendly.

ARGH! Why must I read into everything? Why are my conclusions so forth-coming at the beginning of an encounter? And will I ever uncover the secret behind the magic of the Tiki Mask? All this and more in the next thrilling chapter of David's So-Called Life.

*sigh*
