... in which David realises he didn't name the movie.

It was P.S. I Love You. Not my choice. A sometimes-depressing movie. A bit of a heartstring-tugger, actually. And that's all I'll say about that.

By the way, as I type I have my left foot on the DVD boxset of Supernatural S1 (a birthday gift from Nick) and it is hot. Like, ow!hot. And for no apparent reason. Which is kinda strange, seeing as it's Supernatural...

Went shopping with Cyn today. Started at Broadway and moved on to Glebe Markets, looking for a birthday present for Ashley. Found a couple of really nice pocketwatches that I wanted (because I have always!!!! wanted a pocketwatch) but they were tiny, which made them look like ladies' pocketwatches. I nearly bought one anyway, but decided against it. I found something kinda strange at this potentially-Indian stall, though, and absolutely HAD to pick it up. There's a picture below, but read before you see.

Perhaps four of you have seen (though perhaps none of you remember; Miss Amy has the best chance seeing as I impaled myself on it while hugging her... twice!) the pendant I wore today; it's the one that's been described as (and mistaken for) a crown, a mace, a scepter, and fingers/hands. I picked it up at this little indoor-market place on Pitt Street, right opposite Galleries Victoria, because it stood out. Plus I thought it probably had some meaning.

Then, today at Glebe Markets, I saw this:

Notice the similarities?

The fact that they're basically the same thing astounds me, but the fact that I was actually wearing the pendant today after weeks of wearing my other one... wow. Chances, huh?

So, obviously, I got it. There was no way I was letting it go. Wish it was silver, but oh well. Thing is, I still don't know what it means; I asked the stall owner, and he had no idea (and he was kinda creepy, the way he kept talking to Cyn and I... o_0), so I put the question to you all: WHAT DOES IT MEAN?!

Oh, and I did Draygo a while ago. It's the first time I've drawn him without my graphics tablet; it's nice to know I can do that. Made me want to go out and buy paint so I could colour him properly. I guess I could take him into Photoshop just for colours, but I'd like to have a completely tech-less version to put somewhere... Here it is, by the way:

Sigh. That's it from me for now.

P.S. to Goblin: When I mentioned the tablet, I realised that I neglected to reply to a comment of yours somewhere due to being distracted by your collection of wordsketches (I didn't get through very many as my laptop died, but some of them are complete awesome. I especially love the "sketches are the souls of unborn/still-born artists)" one - I hate erasing pictures, because I don't like the idea that I'm "killing" them :P). But I do remember you asked what size my tablet is; it's 6X8.

Backwards.

I want a shirt like Draygo's. I love the Collar. I love how that image has like your shirt and some other stuff in the BG. <3 XD ftw.

The Pendant is hot too. Indian? As in indigenous or My kind of Indian?

We were playing Charades once, and my friends got Supernatural. Instead of trying to do anything with Supernatuaral the WORD, they mimed two -(two fingers) hot - (fanning self) guys - (points to guys). and the other screamed ZOMG SUPERNATURAL. It was hilarious. & Btw - "Ow!Hot" reminds me of Friends (doesnt everything?!) when Ross says "She's so hot I cried myself to sleep last night." LOL FTW.

Re: Backwards.

It is a pretty awesome collar, no? It's actually the collar on his cape over his shirt, but I won't mention that... ahem :P And I've got my wallet, keys, random paper, a uni notebook, and my black overcoat in that picture.

Yes, the store was your kind of Indian. Which made me think that it too was Indian. Then again, maybe the owner just thought it looked Indian... who knows. Wish I had someone I could ask. *hint hint*

Your friends are win personified. And I remember that scene in Friends, just not the ep :(

Re: Backwards.

STFU with the Cape collar thing. I am in denial.

...Hm...I wonder...(Ill ask someone, because I dont recognize it. XD)

My Friends are amazingness. You should meet my BFF. She <3 Grammar. & It's the Episode with the Hot Nanny, which also has Gavin who is the love of my life. Lauren Reed from Alias plays her (FTW) and she is...uh...It's somewhere in the 9x11 to 9x13 range. It's the One with Phoebe's rat babies. x___x.

Re: Backwards.

Haha!! I <3 you so, Pix!

(thaaaaank yooooouuuuuu)

I think that both your BFF and I should point out, then, that your "<3" should be "<3s", as that is the continuous verb form.

Oooooh! I remember that one!! I love when Phoebe tells Mike about her having triplets for her brother, which freaks him out. LOL moment, that is.

Re: Backwards.

I know, Muffinface. I know. XD I recently told my friend I wrote my Smoker for my Muffin. And she was like...o_O Eh? It was for the Lulz.

I asked my Gmom, and she said, from her understanding, it didnt seem to hold any significance. But then...why would there be two? Maybe it's from a different Part of India (like far, far away.)

hearts* my Mistake.

BHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA YES. I WAS LIKE YES!!!!
I think the True Brilliance of that Episode was the Gavin Arc. Oh how I love Gavin.

Re: Backwards.

Just as all things Muffin should be - for the Lulz.

Perhaps it is. Or perhaps Stall Man just thought it looked Indian-ish when it's really something quite different. It makes me think of the Fleur de Lis, though I know it isn't, so I was thinking maybe it's more Western European/Old British/something. And thank you for asking!!!

I remember none of the Gavin stuff. Clearly I am lame. I remember other parts of the episodes he's in, just not him. How odd.

Re: Backwards.

=D

Youre welcome !!! Maybe you just need to meet more Indians, and less people with the same first name as you. (A)__

!!!I adore him, so I remembered him, and then...I couldnt remember the other elements of the episode. hahahaha. X__X. We should combine our memories for the win.
